Com4, a global IoT cellular operator, announced that it is the first operator partner for Deutsche Telekom’s nuSIM initiative. In doing so, Com4 confirms its commitment to supporting the nuSIM integrated SIM solution.
Several years ago, Com4 became one of the world’s first operators to offer interoperable eUICCs (“eSIMs”). Today the eUICC is commonplace in many segments of the IoT market, offering customers robust and flexible connectivity over the whole device lifecycle. With this announcement, Com4 supplements its existing subscriber management services to encompass a much wider set of use-cases. Com4 has long-standing business relationships to several members of the nuSIM initiative, so this move will help to leverage the nuSIM technology rapidly and effectively.
